{"id":39,"date":"2019-07-17T02:55:24","date_gmt":"2019-07-17T02:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/j-rgriffinfoundation.org\/?page_id=39"},"modified":"2025-07-04T18:30:37","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T18:30:37","slug":"scholarship","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/j-rgriffinfoundation.org\/index.php\/scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Scholarship Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 18px; line-height: 28px; color: #000000; margin-top: 30px;\">The central focus of the Foundation is to help individuals from underrepresented groups (African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, Pacific Islanders, and first-generation college) who will be attending college or vocational school to become self-sustaining financially for themselves and their families by:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"scholarship-info-content\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provide financial and other resources to current high school seniors attending school in the U.S, anticipating completion of a high school diploma at the time of application and planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution or vocational school (\u201cUndergraduate Aid\u201d)<\/li>\r\n<li>Provide financial and other resources to students who have had to discontinue their college or vocational education due to a unexpected life crisis or financial burden<\/li>\r\n<li>Provide financial and other resources to adults who are forced to find another career due to corporation restructuring or loss of work.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"scholarship-info-content info-content\">\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center; font-size: 18px; line-height: 28px; color: #000000;\"><b>Open Application Period for Fall 2025 is from July 6, 2025 through August 9, 2005 at 11:59 p.m.<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p><b><b>For questions regarding our scholarship you may mail a letter to:<\/b> The Jessie and Romie Griffin Scholarship Foundation P.O.
